Email Correspondence Logging & Mail App Beta Release¶
Deep Space now has the ability to log all communications on a project.
Log All Emails 📧¶
- You can send, cc, or forward emails to a project-specific email address to automatically log and catalog communications in Deep Space.
Save All Attachments 📎¶
- Deep Space can securely save all attachments within an email to your project's dedicated Deep Space Document Storage to help organise scattered files.
Mail App 📬¶
- Use the beta version of the Mail App to search across all correspondences and quickly find previous emails with a master search.
- Improve accountability for the whole project team with more visibility into communications.
Why Did We Build This?¶
- Reduce project risks by keeping critical emails and documents logged and searchable
- Provide base framework that will allow correspondence to be used as a workflow trigger and as a data point for Deep Space AI features including DS Actions and Risk Detection.
- Introduce support for correspondence record-keeping legal requirements

Unified Project & User Management System Released¶
The new Unified Project & User Management System, consolidates all user management & permissions into a single place in Deep Space.
Single Login & Permission Handling: 🔒¶
- Deep Space logins between the Revit Addin and DS Platform have now been unified with a shared permission system. Check out the Deep Space User Permissions knowledge base article.

For those with access to both systems, please use your previous Revit password to login to Deep Space everywhere
New Admin Console: ⚙️¶
The new admin console provides an intuitive interface to manage users and other configuration across your portfolio of Deep Space projects.

DS Variations v2 Released!¶
Variations v2 now supports Project Milestones!
- create Project Milestones
- view object counts
- quickly pick which milestones you want to compare
- view model quantities
- quantities are linked with spatial information included Building, Level and Room
- see summarised quantities by Category, Family and Type
- pick which Parameter you want to display
- export the summarised data
What's changed here? The previous version of Variations only supported 2 moments in time and required a dataset refresh, but this version allows you to dynamically pick which Milestones to compare. Much faster and more powerful for the end user, this gives key insight on changes in the project over time, which can affect Claims and Variations.

- Actions Library & Actions Dashboard - new apps: Two new apps to support Deep Space Actions to view historical insights of all actions and notifications and see which actions are enabled for your project.
- Audit Trail for Actions and Notifications: track all actions and progress states including when each notification was sent and to which recipients

Huge update with Hybrid V2 Core Thread Technology¶
A major leap forward with an upgrade to Deep Space's Core Thread Technology — a new Hybrid V2 model. The enhancement is not just about bigger data storage: it is about smarter, faster access to the data you need when you need it. V2 means quicker querying, increased integration capabilities, and the ability to scale massively to meet project demands.
Model Audit App¶
The Model Audit App received a substantial upgrade to provide more precise and actionable insights:
- New Overview page: high-level summaries and detailed project information at a glance.
- Comprehensive reports: enhanced detailed reports at the file and discipline level, giving a macro view of project progress and detailed insights into specific areas.
- Improved algorithm accuracy: adjustments and recalibrations to better handle edge cases and provide fairer, more accurate model scores.
Assets App¶
Asset management capabilities received a substantial boost: 20 automated procedures refined and 14 Asset Detection algorithms integrated, all tailored to streamline the asset management process across projects.
Coordination App¶
The Coordination App gained new reporting features that provide clearer insights and accountability across project teams.
Deep Space UI¶
A redesigned Menu UI that enhances navigation for Deep Space projects:
- Streamlined project stages: apps organised by Design, Precon, Construction, Handover and Operations.
- Project-focused organisation: Teams, Data and Files live in the Project folder.
- Add-ons: tools and third-party apps that integrate with Deep Space for added clarity and transparency.
Expansion: a new data centre in Saudi Arabia¶
Deep Space established a new data centre in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, providing faster, more secure and locally compliant data management for users in the region. The development team also launched the region-selectable Revit add-in, enabling users throughout Saudi Arabia to use Deep Space.

A reminder of the 1.7.48 add-in release: petabyte-scale handling, multi-region support, advanced analytics, larger upload chunks (1 million rows), quicker dashboard refreshes and cost-effective scaling. See DS Sync for Revit — Version 1.7.48.

The latest iteration of the Deep Space experience: a redesigned, intuitive Menu UI built around easier navigation.

DS Sync for Revit - Version 1.7.48¶
New Components¶
- Region selector - choose AUS for current Australian server, KSA for Saudi Arabia server

Action needed at the time: to use the new multi-region platform, users had to install Revit Addin version 1.7.48 or newer before 11 pm on 23 February 2024. The update was critical for continuing to sync without interruption.
New region selector: the add-in gained a region selector, so users could choose AUS for the Australian server and control where their data lives.
